Talk you off what Pop-pop?

Just some progress. The Cap's body is close to done but then all the details of his costumes need to get in there.  Other than that, pretty much just color has been laid in. The heart will be more hair like, I promise. :). Still, any crits would be appreciated.

American Greeting Eat Your Heart Out

I did these for Humorous Illustration.  Grandma is a birthday card, and the other is a Christmas card. Mr. Boley seemed to like them both but I have yet to receive my final grade.

B&W Business card idea

This is an idea for my business card. I'll do a color one also, but for now, poor broke Allison is going for the cheap grey scale.  Any critique would be appreciated.

for the wedding job

I'm posting this one so you can see an example of exaggeration/ likeness. If you are wanting to do black and white instead it would look like the same in style, just imagine that there is no color and you would have it!

this is what a typical caricature by me would look like when it is done for a job. This is also an example of a body (sense you were talking about a beach body I gave myself one) but I am able to do any situation easily enough.

All those yeaars at lucha school finally pay off

so here  is my first professional practice piece. pretty comical perhaps. A little scary. Based on  superstition that if you put a robin on a sick child, the child will get better. Onto the next one!

Fan art?

Fan art, the movie is rather cool. I think I'll stick to traditional line art. Not feeling the squiggle.

ABE

For Humorous Illustration we have to do a caricaturization of a famous person. I'm doing Abraham Lincoln. The most baddest of the bad. Here are my sketches. I'm going for the money one. The creepy pedo one was going to have a Mary Todd Lincoln center for the Mentally Insane in the backround, but not enough people knew that a) Lincoln was married to Mary Todd, and b) that by today's standards she would be considered certifiably insane. Here it goes.

Ever sense I was a young boy I've played the silver ball . . .

Close up of The Love Zombie.  Happy six month anniversary imaginary boyfriend!!

Attack of the Love virus. (like 28 Days later, get it? lol) Don't ever give your significant other a zombie Valentine.

A total rip off from one of Nav's ideas. His is a lot nicer too. . . It was just too good an idea to not rip off I guess. Forgive me Nate.

and the far away.  Im really thinking about getting this as a tattoo on my back. I've wanted to do so all summer.

Kind of an abstract idea of what I really need in life. It turns out that I don't need much, just as long as my spinal cord can grip a pencil I'll be fine. The Close up.

The Mudville 9. Maybe this needs some explaining. There is a poem about baseball called "The Mudville Nine." It's a really awesome poem so for the contest at my Library "Master the Art of Reading" I thought I would illustrate the poem. The mighty Casey is in the middle, pre strike out, the women are sad (and probably have heatstroke) because they know whats coming, and then there's Joe Walsh, singing the second verse of Rocky Mountain Way. "Well he's telling us this and he's telling us that, changes it every day, says it doesn't matter. Bases are loaded and Casey's at bat, playing it play by play, time to change the batter."

sideways close up of the hippo. Awesome?

Hi I'm Lindsey Wagner, and if you're like me you're one of the millions who toss and turn during the night. What's your sleep number

Dead Caricature Artist Don't Wear Plaid. They wear Batman hoodies, so there. Inspired by the movie, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid.

Hunter S. Thopmson close up sorry he's sideways

Batman schinanigans

This might be my fav. I love his three hairs.

Batman has a morals clause? He keeps a young boy in a cave.

Penguin with his minions from the movie . . .

Alfred Penneyworth (he's worth more than a penney to me!)

So for the sketch a day thing I quickly abandoned the alphabet for something cooler, Fat batman. had a lot of fun doing this stuff.
