Your stomach likes it!!

Sitting pose. Maybe forty minutes or so. It came out rather nice if you look at it close up, but from farther back it looses a lot of its subtle shifts. I'm gonna call it done cuz there is no way I'm gonna do her pants, they're acid wash (not only ugly but just a bitch to look good with pen).

I know I said I was going to work on the charicature more, but I decided to work on the "real" one  instead. Tee gave me some good pointers and they helped a lot. Thanks girl!

I decided to try and do the sketch a day thing. Im starting with the alphabet as a theme. A is for Abbot and Costello. Super quick line drawing. I like it quite a bit though.

This is the line drawing that I'm going to be working on all night. It's an add for mountian dew. Your Stomach Likes It!!

Jeff Carlisle came to talk to our class. It was really uplifting and enjoyable. He talked about how he got his start and where he is now. I respect him so much for doing exactly what he want to do, which is fantasy and sci-fi art. He draws Star Wars for a living. It was great to hear that even though it seems he has more failure than success, he is a success and wouldn't change his past experiences for notin'. Also, he does a great kermit impression. I got to give it up to CCAD for all the great lectures we've been having lately. The Dinotopia guy (Gurrney?) James Sullivan, who is the greatest matte painter for movies for all of time, and now Jeff. I feel like I've really been getting a sensational experience as of late, and that is awesome.
